Financial Planning

Step one: laying the foundation.

Before constructing your financial plan, you need a solid foundation. Ultimately, your financial plan should be built from your core values. We’ll help you identify, prioritize and quantify your financial goals. When can you retire? How much will you need? Do you have adequate insurance? We’ll help you define what’s important to you.

Step two: your financial blueprint.

Once we’ve established the foundational elements of your plan, we can draw up a blueprint that will address the obstacles and opportunities to your goals. We’ll identify all the issues, making recommendations and assigning benchmarks for meeting your goals. During construction, we’ll periodically re-evaluate your progress and adjust as necessary to keep you on track.

To ensure all of your needs are met, WJ also coordinates with other professionals and will provide a comprehensive review of:

  • Retirement planning
  • College planning
  • Insurance analysis (life, disability, homeowners, etc.)
  • Estate planning analysis (wills, trusts, etc.)
  • Business succession planning
  • Tax planning and coordination
  • Debt management (mortgage analysis, debt planning)
  • Investment review and analysis
  • Other financial issues relating to your specific situation

Step three: engineering your future.

We’ll assemble a detailed net worth statement and cash flow for you, which will include current assets, liabilities, income and expenses. We’ll make future projections for these figures, then “stress test” your plans using both advanced financial theory and state-of-the-art software to determine what your options are.

Because life is what happens.

A financial plan isn’t etched in stone. Nor should it be some big, intimidating binder that collects dust on your shelf. As the circumstances in your life change - and they will - we will work with you to update and modify your plan accordingly.

As Certified Financial Planner® professionals, WJ Interests is uniquely positioned to help you achieve all your financial planning goals.
