 | Bill Jameson, CFP®
Bill Jameson, president of WJ Interests, has more than 30 years of management experience in leading successful business enterprises. Prior to forming WJ Interests in 1996, his emphasis was business financial/strategic planning and analysis for bond financing for public works and infrastructure projects. A 30-year resident of Fort Bend County, Bill served as president of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Fort Bend Economic Development Council, and former president of a successful Houston-based consulting engineering firm. Bill is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a registered investment advisor with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
As a CFP® professional, Bill has met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He has successfully completed the Board's financial planning coursework and passed the certification examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.

 | Jared Jameson, CFP®
Jared Jameson, vice president and chief investment officer of WJ Interests, received his MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. Jared also is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a registered investment advisor with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Jared is active in the Fort Bend community. He has served in numerous capacities for the Sugar Land Rotary Club. He serves on the board of directors for the Fort Bend County Women’s Center, for which he has been president and treasurer. Jared also serves on the Sugar Land Town Square TIRZ board and Fort Bend Green. He lives with his wife and daughter in Great Wood.

 | Derek Finley
Derek Finley joined WJ Interests in 2008, first as a summer intern and then as associate planner. He holds a BS in financial planning from Texas Tech University, one of the few colleges in the country to offer this degree. During his time at TTU, Derek was a peer counselor for Red to Black, a student-run program that helps students, faculty and staff members learn how to better manage their finances and get out of debt.
Derek is a registered investment advisor with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He also has passed the test administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and his charter as a CFP® is currently pending, subject to other requirements.
Derek and his wife, Amber, live in Sugar Land.

 | Alisha Weaver, CPA
Alisha Weaver, manager of financial planning, joined WJ Interests in early 2003. She is a certified public accountant and assists with financial planning, equity and fixed income research, and trading.
Prior to joining WJ Interests, Alisha was manager of financial reporting and compliance for Nuevo Energy Company, a Houston-based oil and gas company. She held this position from 1998 through March 2002. Before Nuevo, Alisha was an audit manager with Arthur Andersen LLP.
Alisha earned a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Association. She and her husband, Clay, and their four children live in Sugar Land.

| Faye Roach
Faye Roach, accounts manager, joined WJ Interests in June 2006. She manages our relationships with client custodians.
From 2002 to 2006, Faye was personal assistant to the portfolio manager at Gulf Investment Management (acquired by Oppenheimer Funds in 2002), a private money management firm with more than $2.3 billion under management. Prior to Gulf Investment Management, Faye was accounts manager and personal assistant at Ameriprise Financial (formerly American Express Financial Advisors) from 1988 to 2000.
Faye and her husband of 32 years, Tom, reside in Missouri City.

| Susan Barnes
Susan Barnes joined WJ Interests in September 2006. As office manager, she is responsible for the “behind-the-scenes” operations of the business.
Susan has BA degrees in journalism and theatre from Wichita State University, and additional training in business systems and organization. Former projects include developing an FAA-approved system for adding aircraft and airport stations to an aviation certificate, and creating a delivery system for voting machines that was adopted by the Sedgwick County Election Commission.
Susan and her husband, James, live Missouri City.
